Our Story – The Path to SOKLA

I have been in the world of socks for more than 10 years. My journey began in Riga, Latvia, when I founded my first company – KarmaSock. At that time, our focus was on creating souvenir socks that carried stories, culture, and joy. That was the beginning, and it showed me something important: socks are not just everyday items – they can spark happiness and make people feel special.

As we grew, we began testing new ideas and soon developed military socks. These weren’t just products – they became trusted gear. Our socks were used by the Latvian National Guard and even tested under combat conditions by the Latvian Military. Through research, testing, and dedication, we built some of the best socks ever created for this demanding purpose. That experience taught me how much detail, engineering, and material science matter when creating socks that truly perform.

But I wanted to go further. I started to see a big gap in the sock industry – a lack of high-quality solutions for people with real foot problems. Diabetics, seniors, travelers, and people with sensitive feet often had to choose between basic, low-quality socks or medical socks that were functional but uncomfortable and unattractive. I knew that socks could do more – they could change lives by combining health, comfort, and style.

That’s why I created SOKLA.

A brand built on a decade of expertise, engineered with precision, and crafted with the world’s best materials – merino wool, combed cotton, silver-infused fibers, and advanced technical blends. Our mission is simple but powerful: to design socks that improve well-being, support foot health, and make every step more comfortable.
